We strap on the heavy physical burden of being the one who always has the answer, calling it 'being a man'—but often, we are just encasing ourselves in a shell of self-reliance. It is hard, exhausting work that keeps the world out, but also keeps us trapped and hidden from being truly known. This weekend is the Great Exchange: a sacred opportunity to lay down the armor of who the world told you to be, so you can finally hear the Truth of who God says you are. You aren't here to become a 'better version' of yourself through more effort; you are here to be restored to your original design. I love staffing to have a front row seat of seeing and supporting what amazing transformation the Holy Spirit is going to do in the lives of attendees and staff!
